We were thrilled last month to see our headline sponsorship events go ahead at Chepstow Racecourse, sponsoring all seven races which were shown live on Sky Sports Racing. It’s one of a number of sponsorship events we have planned to help launch BioWaveGO in the UK and raise awareness about how we’re revolutionising pain management and recovery in elite sports.
Supporting Elite Jockeys
BioWaveGO is already being trialled by top jump jockeys including Jonjo O’Neill Jnr, Tom Scudamore, Daryl Jacob, Johnny Burke, Adrian Heskin and notably recently retired 4 times champion Richard Johnson.
Racing fans will also be aware of the severe back injury suffered by champion Flat jockey Paul Hanagan at Newcastle last year. As part of his lengthy recovery, Paul found BioWaveGO extremely useful in helping him return to the saddle.
We’d like the echo the sentiments from the coverage of the day in repeating that BioWaveGO’s revolutionary pain blocking technology is a very good news story for the world of racing, and we look forward to supporting more and more jockeys to manage pain and recovery.
Our Elite Sports Manager, Darren Sheppard, at BioWaveGO shared his thoughts on the event:
“It was great to see our first event go off so well at Chepstow and we hope it’s the first of many. We’ve seen first-hand the impact our devices can have in helping the recovery of elite jockeys, athletes and anyone who is living with pain every day. We look forward to spreading the word among race fans and all, with the hope to help many more people to make it to the winning line in the future.”
Do you manage chronic or acute pain? Looking for an alternative to potentially addictive pain medication – try BioWaveGo – forget about pain and get on with being you.
